Tulip in Case — by Unma Jajodia
Aug 8, 2021
On that apricated morning,
When you strummed those strings,
A red tulip bloomed,
Marking the arrival of spring.
I opened the window,
To wheeze the misty air,
Found a bird at our bay,
Waiting to take you away.
It was time for you to depart,
For the castle you built in Spain,
Gently tucking a Tulip in your case,
I bravely lauded this pain.
The sight became faint,
As you picked up speed,
There was just one thing,
I wanted you to heed,
In the middle of road,
If you begin to roam,
One gaze at this Tulip,
Will bring you home.
